Get to know us!

Michelle and Gwyndylyn are a mother & daughter duo that tend to jump into any project with both feet and wholeheartedly embrace our endeavors. Silver Lining Yarns was both a “leap before we look” and a “well-planned out” endeavor. This shop is a dream we have cultivated over the past seventeen years. We were just waiting for the right time and space to come along to make this dream a reality. Between the two of us, we have over seventy years of knitting and crochet experience and have been teaching since 2010.

Silver Lining Yarns is a queer woman-owned, welcoming, and inclusive community. Everyone is welcome here. Any gender, any age, any size, any sexuality, any ability, any color, any religion, any cultural background, any immigration status (because we will never ask). To protect this space, behaviors including hatred, abusive language, bigotry, and exclusivity will not be tolerated. Should you display any of these, you will be asked to leave. If you feel as though our ideals clash, this may not be the right yarn shop for you. We wish you well and hope that you find a space that fits you better.
