Policies
It's never fun to have to have rules, but we do have to have a few. If you have any questions, please reach out to us via our Contact Us page.
Store Rules:
- Be respectful of the other people in the shop.
- Mind your space. Other people may want to join the seating and table areas as well.
- No open speakers (wear earphones if you wish to listen to your music or see if the staff is willing to change the music to something you are in the mood for.)
- Please keep phone conversations private (no speaker phones), please.
- Food is permitted, but please clean up after yourself and wash your hands before touching the merchandise.
- No glitter. If you’ve ever spilled a four-ounce jar of rainbow glitter, you will understand.
- Keep conversations to a joyful dull roar, keeping in mind classes that may be going on.
- Service animals are always welcome. While we would love to meet your fur babies, due to the nature of our product, we ask that you keep your pets at home.
Returns and exchanges:
Yarn and fiber will be accepted for return for store credit only within thirty days of purchase. Yarn must be in its original (unwound) condition, with the tags and ball bands attached, and be free of any damage or odors. Needles and hooks may be exchanged within ten days of original purchase and must be in their original packaging.
Class cancellation policy:
Canceled classes are not eligible for a refund, but will receive store credit in line with the following, classes canceled at least:
- 7 days before - 100% store credit
- 72 hours before - 50% store credit
- No-shows or cancellations with less than 72 hours notice - no store credit as a courtesy to our instructors
If a class needs to be rescheduled due to a reason on our side, students will be notified via e-mail or phone as soon as possible. Students who miss any session of a multi-session class who wish to reschedule will be subject to a $30 rescheduling fee. If your schedule keeps you from being able to commit to any session of a multi-session class, please reach out to us prior to signing up to see if we are able to accommodate any missed classes.
Special Orders:
Not finding what you're looking for? Maybe we don't have enough in stock for your project... No worries! We are more than happy to special order anything available to us. When special ordering, 50% is required when the order is placed, and the rest upon pickup once the products have arrived. Shipping times may vary, so anticipate upwards of 5+ weeks before the delivery arrives at our door. Once the products are available for pickup, you have two weeks to pick them up. After that time, if the products are something we routinely carry, they will be returned to the sales floor and the deposit returned in the form of store credit to your account. If it is not something we routinely carry, the products will move to the sales floor, and the deposit will be forfeited.
